Ryan is a Nova Scotia born and raised lawyer. His work is grounded in a strong understanding of commercial realities, combining legal expertise with firsthand experience in insurance, banking and and finance.
This blend of experience allows him to approach client matters with a practical, solution‑oriented perspective.
Ryan earned his law degree from Dalhousie University and holds a Business Degree from Acadia University. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association.

We are committed to price transparency. We discuss fees early, explain how pricing is structured, and aim to avoid surprises so clients understand the cost and value of our services from the outset.
Where possible, we offer fixed or clearly defined fee arrangements. When fixed fees are not suitable, we provide upfront explanations and ongoing communication so clients always understand how fees are calculated.
OC Law is currently a remote based practice. We use video conferencing technology to primarily meet with clients online, but when required in person at locations that are convenient for them.
